Clarence Gechter

Clarence R. Gechter, 95, of Emmaus, PA passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospice House. He was the husband of Babette M. Gechter who passed away on March 9, 1989. Born in Exeter Township, he was the son of the late Daniel and Agnes L. (Hafer) Gechter. During his life he was employed as a Lift Truck Operator for Dana Corporation, retiring on February 1, 1987. He is survived by his loving companion for 27 years, Carol J. Bognar of Emmaus, PA and his sister Linda Trexler of Macungie. Mr. Gechter was predeceased by his son, Steve Gechter; brothers, George Gechter, Leroy Gechter, Woodrow Gechter, Linberg Gechter, Charles Gechter and sister Bertha Gechter and Anna.

Graveside Service will be held in Sinking Spring Cemetery, Sinking Spring, PA 19608, Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11:00am. Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate. Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
