Christine Stubblebine

Christine A. "Tina" Stubblebine, 72, of Reading, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009 in her residence surrounded by her loving family and friends after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Alda (Shultz) Eltz.

She was a 1954 graduate of Reading High School.

She was a supervisor at Woolworth for 15 years, secretary for student nursing housing at the Reading Hospital for 10 years, a lunch aide at 16th and Haak Elementary, and last worked in October 2008 as a secretary for the Catholic Charities of Reading.

She is survived by sons: Robert Stubblebine of Reading and Keith Stubblebine, husband of Bonnie (Goodman) Stubblebine of West Lawn; and daughters: Debra (Stubblebine) Galloway of Reading, and Sandra (Stubblebine) Sublette of West Lawn.

There are also five grandchildren: Danelle, Holly, Amanda, Kaitlin, and Austin; and one great grandson: Taylor.

She is also survived by her loving dog, Tigger.
