Christine Guigley

Christine T. Guigley, 67, of Gouglersville, passed away on December 31, 2018 at The Reading Hospital.
Born in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Alma M. (Wesoloski) Bednar.
Early in her career, Christine was employed as a registered nurse for St. Joseph Hospital and Berks Heim. Christine always had a great enjoyment working with children. After raising her family, she was employed as a Day Care Aide for Tiny Treasures and Kinder Care. Christine enjoyed spending time with her husband and children, and often together they would go fishing and camping. She also enjoyed bowling, playing racquet ball, and bingo. In recent years she enjoyed nature walks with her husband, Barry at Nolde Forest.
She was predeceased by her brother-in-law: Albert L. Guigley.
Survivors include her husband: Barry P. Guigley, children: Michael B. Guigley, husband of Nichole R. of Pine Grove and Matthew P. Guigley, husband of Jenn L. of Mohnton. Also surviving is a granddaughter: Krista M. Guigley and step-grandchildren: Lindsey M. and Katie L. Kemmerling; Siblings: John L. Bednar, husband of Laura, Patricia A. Eddinger, wife of Dennis, Judy F. Duffy, wife of Bill, and Richard C. Bednar; Brother-in-law: Douglas A. Guigley, husband of Jean and sister-in-law: Doris A. Murray, wife of Bill.
Funeral Services will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 12:00PM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10:30-12:00PM. Burial will immediately follow the Service at Pleasant View Cemetery.
