Christine Emery

Christine L. Emery, 66, of Cumru Twp., passed away December 6, 2010 in Reading Hospital & Medical Center where she was a patient since December 4th. She was the wife of William S. Emery who passed away in 2004. Born in Harrisburg on October 29, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Leonard V. and Grace O. (Auman) Thompson.

Christine was employed as a medical secretary for several years and later was a self employed pet sitter.

Surviving are 3 sons Matthew S. Emery at home, Michael Emery of Woodstock, GA and Mark T. Emery of Coatesville, 3 grandchildren and 2 sisters Dorothy A. (Thompson) widow of George Weisenberger of Wyomissing and Joan E. (Thompson) wife of Clarence Knaus of Montoursville. She was dearly loved by her family and friends, loved animals and cared deeply for her sons.
