Charles Stewart

Charles J. Stewart, 76, of Sinking Spring, passed away surrounded by his loving family in his home on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.  Born in  Goldsboro, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Norman and Myrtle (Wade) Stewart.  Charles was the loving husband to Juana (Gutierrez) Genis Stewart, together they shared 23 years of marriage.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army for 13 years.  Charles worked as a Truck Driver for Schneider Trucking and retired as a Security Guard from Walmart.  He loved animals, especially dogs and always had a great sense of humor. His smile could light up a whole room, and he always found the joy in things. No matter what was going on serious or not, he always found a way to make others laugh.

In addition to his wife Juana, Charles is survived by his son, Alex Genis Stewart, fiancé of Nadya Spotts of Sinking Spring and daughter, Aura Salazar, wife of Johnny Alarcon of King of Prussia.  Also surviving, his siblings, Woody Stewart, Robbie Stewart, Grace Hagedorn, and Dwight Stewart, and Betty Anselmi.
