Charles Hine

Charles E. Hine, 73, of Amity Twp., passed away June 1, 2010 at 9:15 AM in his residence. He was the husband of Dolores E. (Hinkel) Hine. Born in Amity Twp. on February 22, 1937, he was the son of the late Oscar L. and Florence (Glaser) Hine.

Mr. Hine was a 20 year U.S. Navy veteran serving in Vietnam. He later was employed as a supply clerk by the Civil Service in Port Hueneme, California for 18 years and last worked as a custodian at Daniel Boone School District for 4 years.

Surviving in addition to his wife are 3 sons David C. Hine of West Reading, Edward J. Hine of Exeter Twp. and Norman O. Hine of Mt. Penn, 2 daughters Lynn Hine and Jean Hine both of California, 3 grandchildren, 3 sisters Ellen H. (Hine) widow of Chester G. Faust, Louise E. Hine and Alma J. Hine all of Douglassville and a step brother Wilson W. St. Clair of Pottstown. He was predeceased by a brother LeRoy J. Hine and his step other Dorothy C. (Conrad) Hine.
