Charles T. Cahoe, 91, of Reading, passed away August 28, 2010 at 9:25 am in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township. He was the husband of Mae G.(Shultz)Cahoe to whom he was married for 64 years. Born in Fayette, Iowa, he was the son of the late Francis B. and Mary(Nally)Cahoe. Mr. Cahoe was employed by Glidden Paints in Reading as a paint mixer. He served in the United States Army during WWII, 3rd armored spearhead division in France, Germany and Belgium. He was a member of Berean Baptist Church and served as a deacon for several years and as cub scout leader. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a member of Remington Gun Club. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Charles A."Chuck" husband of Victoria(Blatt)Cahoe of Reading, sister in law Jean M. Frantz of Reiffton, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews in Reading and Texas. He is also survived by brothers Forrest and Carmon both of Louisville, Kentucky and sisters Thelma Mattingly, Gertrude Bagwell, Sharmaine Denkoff and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews all of Louisville, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by brothers Hugh, Paul, Francis B. Cahoe and sisters Arietta Stastyshyn and Bernice Brown.
