Charles Breon

Charles D. Breon, 81, formerly of Shillington, passed away Monday, June 22, 2009, at 9:20 a.m., at Laurel Center in Hamburg, where he had been a patient since November of 2008.

Born in Port Clinton, he was the son of the late Reuben B. Breon and Ellen J. (Crater) Breon, and companion of the late June D. Newman, who passed away July 10, 1989.

He was a US Army Veteran Corporal, serving during World War II, and member of the former Port Clinton U.C.C.

He was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W.

He is survived by a sister: Helen (Breon) Boully of Arlington, VA, and several nieces and nephews.
