Charlene Mullen

Charlene J. Mullen, 39, of Exeter Township, passed away April 22, 2009 at 6:30 am in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center following a three year courageous battle with cancer. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Charles McCue. Charlene was a 1987 graduate of John W. Hallahan High School in Philadelphia; a 1999 graduate of RACC with a degree in General Studies and a 2005 graduate of Kutztown University with a degree in Special and Elementary Education. She was a Special Education teacher for Conrad Weiser School District-Weiser Decisions for two years last working Wednesday April 15, 2009. She was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Church, Exeter Towsnhip. Charlene was the strongest, most giving and caring mother who would do anything to see her children smile. They were truly the light of her life. Charlene was a Loving and Devoted Mother to Michael P. III, Amanda C. and Matthew R. all at home living with their father. She is also survived by brothers Charles "Butch" McCue of Philadelphia, Christopher McCue of Philadelphia and sisters Colleen Nester of Plymouth Meeting and Cathleen Holland of Philadelphia.
