Chad Jay Weller

Chad Jay Weller, 56, of Reading, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at The Reading Hospital. He was the loving husband to Carolyn Joy (Weaver) whom he shared 33 years of marriage with. Born in Reading, Chad was the son of Phillip Martin Weller and Nancy Louise (Grumbling). Chad was a graduate of Governor Mifflin, class of 1985. Chad worked as a PDM Technician for Carpenter Technology. 

In addition to his wife, Carolyn and parents, Chad is survived by his sons, Nathaniel S. Weller, and eldest son Jacob C. Weller, husband of Brittany. He is also survived by his grandson, Slone, his brother Philip Weller, husband of Donna, sister, Heidi Youse, wife of Michael, and his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. 

Funeral Service for Chad will be held in Bean Funeral Homes 129. E Lancaster Ave. Shillington, PA 19607 on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Scott Davis to officiate. Internment to follow in Christ Yocum Church Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and guests in Bean Funeral Home, Shillington, on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Tuesday December 12, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
