Cecelia Stella Mullen (Nowotarski), 97, of Exeter Township, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Berks Heim.
Cecelia was born in Reading on July 29, 1924, a daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Wisniewski) Nowotarski. She was the wife of the late E. William Mullen who passed away on June 12, 1998.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Douglassville.
Cecelia believed in hard work starting during WWII at Jacobs Aircraft Engine Cp. And ending her career after 28 years at Western Electric/Lucent retiring in 1987. She was a proud member of the IBEW.
Cecelia passions were cooking, the Phillies and her family.
Cecelia is survived by 3 children, Jeffrey, Birdsboro; Kathleen (Maier), Atlantic City; and Galen (Ann), Reading. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; Brett (Sarah), Lesley, Kyle, and Kirk, 5 great-grandchildren, Nicolas, Charles, Spencer, Fletcher, and Lenore and her sister Lorraine Overley.
Cecelia was preceded in death by her siblings: Edmund, John, Stanley, Eugene, Bernard, Clarence, Mildred, and Dolores.
There will be a visitation for Cecelia on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 10:00am-11:00am at Bean Funeral Homes Inc. 129 E. Lancaster Ave. Shillington, PA 19607, followed by a burial at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
