Catherine Terenchin

Catherine Terenchin, 98, of Kenhorst, passed away January 12, 2010 at 9:30 pm in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center. She was the wife of the late William Terenchin who passed away in 1971. Born in McKeesport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lukasz and Anna(Kozak) Terefenko. Mrs. Terenchin was employed as an examiner for Kelray Knitting Mills and was a member of The Orthodox Church of St. Herman of Alaska in Shillington. She is survived by her son, William P. husband of Suzanne E. Terenchin of Northmont and her daughter, Cheryl A. Terenchin with whom she last resided along with her grandchildren Patrick A. Terenchin, Tanya Fatula, Susan Fatula, Daryl Fatula, Alexander W. Terenchin and her great granddaughter Josephina Fatula. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sonja L. Fatula, February 17, 2008. Mrs. Terenchin is also survived by her sister Sophie Kuczawa of Crestwood and her brother in law Irwin Kline of Elizabethtown. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Hartz, Rose Kline, Stanley, Michael, Nicholas, Peter and Paul Terefenko.
