Carol Hamonko

Carol J. Hamonko, 70, of Exeter Township, and formerly of Hatfield, PA, passed away February 10, 2016 with her loving husband by her side.
She was the wife of Michael D. Hamonko, together they celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Born in Coraopolis, PA, she was the daughter of the late Herbert D. and Ruth M. (Weber) Porter.
Mrs. Hamonko was a graduate of Clarissa School of Fashion and Design. She was employed at Rosenbluth Travel as a business travel agent for many years.
Carol loved to crochet, knit and sew but most of all enjoyed being around her family especially her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband are children Michael R. Hamonko, husband of Gaetana, Harrisburg; Suellen J. Panase, wife of James, Exeter Twp.; five grandchildren Anthony and Nicholas Panase, Elizabeth, Sarah and Michael Hamonko and brother Herbert Porter, husband of Laurel, Coneaut Lake , PA.
A memorial service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township, Reading, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 2:30pm, Rev. Pau L. Jones officiating.
