Carmen Fisher

Carmen D. Fisher, 88, formerly of Spring Township, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 6:00 pm in Chestnut Knoll, Boyertown. She was the wife of the late Richard D. Fisher who passed away February 22, 2015 to whom she was married to for 63 years. Born in Reading, Mrs. Fisher was the daughter of the late Albert and Jessie (Rhoads) Shannon. She was a 1947 graduate of Mount Penn High School and was beautician for Randy Rick until her retirement. She was an avid gardener and walker. Mrs. Fisher is survived by her brother Shawn R. Shannon, husband of Marian L. Shannon of Wernersville and 5 nephews and 2 nieces whom she loved and enjoyed.
Graveside service will be held in Laureldale Cemetery 4631 Pottsville Pike, Laureldale, Monday, October 2, 2017 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association 225 North Michigan Ave. Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 in memory of Mrs. Carmen D. Fisher.
