Carmela Rossi

Carmela “Millie” Rossi, 101, of Reading, passed away Tuesday June 28, 2022 at 12:01 pm in her residence.  She was the wife of the late Louis J. Rossi who passed away March 17, 1999.  Born in Reading, Mrs. Rossi was the daughter of the late Antonio and Rose (Rossi) DiGuardi.  She was the oldest member and life member of Spring Valley Church of God and was employed by Lucent Technologies for 26 years as a layout operator retiring in 1982.   Mrs. Rossi is survived by her children David L. Rossi of Reading; Joyce A. Flannery of Shillington; Joan E. Fick, wife of the late Denis Fick of Reading; Betty J. Rossi of Shillington; Nancy L. Leininger, wife of Reverend Jeffrey Leininger of Fair Lawn, New Jersey; her 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister Geraldine Karper, wife of James Karper of Birdsboro.

Graveside Service will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 West Neversink Road, Exeter Towhship, Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 10:00 am.  Reverend Robert E.
