Carlene Huyard

Carlene Y. Huyard, 81, formerly of Reading, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 in Berks Leisure Living, Leesport. Born in Chester County, Ms. Huyard was the daughter of the late William J. Yetter, Sr. and Christina (Hedrick) Yetter. She was of the Methodist Faith and was involved in the banking industry for 20 years, retiring as assistant vice president at Cornerstone Bank in King of Prussia. Ms. Huyard is survived by her children Frank L. Huyard, Jr. husband of Catherine M. Huyard of Mohrsville and Pamela A. Becker, wife of Dr. Charlton D. Becker of Exeter Township. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren along with her life partner, Dr. Robert N. Johnson of Harleysville. Also surviving is her brother Ronald F. Yetter, husband of Joyce Yetter of Coatesville and she was preceded in death by her brothers Loran A. Yetter and William J. Yetter.
Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township, Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 11:00 am. Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Wednesday 10:00-11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 in memory of Mrs. Carlene Y. Huyard.
