Carl May

Carl B. May, 82, of Elverson, passed away March 4, 2011 at 10:45 PM in Reading Hospital & Medical Center where he was a patient one day. He was the husband of Gladys H. (Houghton) May. Born in Floral Park, NY on February 27, 1929, he was the son of the late Carl B. May Sr. and Mary (Breitenstein) May.

Mr. May was a graduate of St. John's College, New York. He served in the US Marine Corp. during the Korean Conflict. He was the founder and president of American Bouvier des Flandre Club in Pennsylvania.

Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 step sons Jay E. Rutherford of Glenmore and Mark E. Rutherford of Bridgewater, NJ and 4 step grandchildren.
