Carl Loeper

December 5, 1923 — June 16, 2011

Carl's journey here on earth and his devotion to his church has ended on June16, 2011 in Rochester, NY, formerly living his life in Reading, PA. He was the husband of Marian A. (Mietelski) Loeper; they shared 62 years together. Carl was born in Reading, PA on December 5, 1923; he was the son of the late Philip and Margaret Loeper.

Mr. Loeper was the co-owner of Loeper Brother's Cabinet Makers, where he worked for 50 years. Carl served his country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corp. during World War II. He served in the Central Pacific Islands in the Air

Armor Division.

Mr. Loeper was involved in Scouting for many years, as well as, a member and president of the Holy Name and Nocturnal Adoration Societies. Carl served on the Architectural Review Board of the Arch Diocese of Allentown for 26 years. He was also a Eucharistic Minister.

In addition to his wife Marian, Carl is survived by two sons, Lawrence W., husband of Nancy Weinhold of Beaufort, SC and Bryan J., husband of Dorothy Hudson of San Marcos, TX and a daughter, Carolyn Rose wife of Dr. Melvin King of Rochester, NY.

There are two sisters, Virginia Arentz and Jeanette Rubright and four brothers, Robert, John, Philip and Thomas. He was predeceased by a sister Elizabeth McDonald and a brother, Paul. There are nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
