Blanche T. Kreiger, 99, formerly of Mifflin Park, passed away Friday, April 10th, at 6:30 p.m. at Berks Heim, where she had been a resident for nine years.
Born in Middleport, Schuylkill Co., she was a daughter of the late Harry Coleman and Irene E. (Singley) Coleman, and widow of the late Oliver G. Kreiger, who passed away January 15, 1999.
She worked as a Pairer for Berkshire Knitting Mills in Wyomissing for 25 years, retiring in 1971, and was a member of Calvary United Church of Christ, Reading.
She is survived by her son: Robert D., husband of Darlene Kreiger of Wilmington, DE; and a daughter: Yvonne K. (Kreiger), wife of Eugene Rhoads of Wyomissing.
There are also grandchildren: Gary, Melanie, Meghann, and Erienne, and great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Andrew, Michael, Cole, and Gwen.
She is also survived by a brother: Kenneth Coleman of Valrico, FL, and a sister: Fern (Coleman) Dresher of Burlington, NJ, and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was pre deceased by a brother: Clyde, and a sister: Dorothy (Coleman) Kay.
