Blanche Hoffman

Blanche B. Hoffman (Brendle) 101, of Manheim, formerly of Wyomissing, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Pleasant View Communities, Manheim. She was the loving wife to Charles W. Hoffman for 40 years before his passing on, February 5, 1998. Born in Lancaster County, Blanche was the daughter of the late Paul Brendle and Alma (Becker). Blanche worked in the Berkshire Knitting Mills for over 35 years, and in housekeeping at Wilson School District before her retirement in 1984.

Blanche is survived by her many, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Burnell Shenk.

In addition to her husband Charles, Blanche is predeceased by her daughter, Slyvia Tshudy, and sister, Katherine Locke.

A Celebration of Blanche’s life will be held at Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Ave, Sinking Spring, on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Laureldale Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home, Sinking Spring, on Thursday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice for All Seasons.
