Our dear mother Billie Jean (Anglin) Deeds died peacefully in her sleep on November 20, 2023, at Country Meadows Nursing Home. Her beloved husband Richard Deeds died just 10 days before on November 10, 2023. They were married for 64 years, and are together again.

She is survived by her loving daughters Eileen (John) Calabria and Debra (Thomas) Calvaresi, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Our mother was born in Wheeler, Texas and is predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Ina Mae Anglin, sister, Lois Rochelle, and by her son, James Nardo, who passed away July 7, 2000.

Billie Jean and her husband were members of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ. She retired after 30 years from Lucent Technologies and enjoyed tending her flowers, sewing and baking. She her husband loved to travel both in the U.S., Europe, and took many cruises.

Funeral service for Billie Jean will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023, at 12:00 PM in Laureldale Cemetery Chapel, 4631 Pottsville Pike Reading, PA 19605. The family will receive guests in the chapel from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Online guestbook and condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
