Beverly Jane Texter

Beverly Jane Texter, 78, of Sinking Spring, passed away Friday, January 24, 2025 at 9:55 am at Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard Arlin Texter who passed away March 30, 2008. Born in Reading, Mrs. Texter was the daughter of the late David and Mildred (Noll) Schaffer. She was employed as a cabinet finisher at Richmaid Kitchens and as a supervisor at RM Palmer Candies until her retirement. Mrs. Texter graduated from Reading High School. She is survived by her children Brian J. Derr, Jr. companion of Jennifer Sweigart of Shillington; Richard A. Texter, Jr. husband of Kimberly S. Texter of Wernersville; Tracee L. Davidson wife of Kevin J. Davidson of Sinking Spring; her grandchildren Justin and Chase and her niece Michele L. Klinger partner of Jason Denunzio of Flying Hills. Mrs. Texter was preceded in death by her brother Richard Schaffer and her sister Carol Kline.

Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 10:00 am. Amy S. Landis, Celebrant will officiate. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
