Betty Roth

Betty J. Roth, 89, of Green Hills Manor and formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away February 4, 2010 at 12:35 AM in Berkshire Center where she was a patient for 1 A½ weeks. She was the wife Harry J. Roth who passed away September 11, 1995. Born in Pittsburgh on July 31, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Daniel L. and Ethel B. (Chrispen) Feick.


Mrs. Roth received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grove City College, Grove City, PA. She was a skilled business woman who worked in the family business, Brentwood Motor Coach Company, but she was known for the talent and time that she donated to many organizations throughout her life. She loved to knit, creating hundreds of caps, sweaters, and socks for family, friends and children in need. She was above all, a loving mother, blessing the lives of her surviving three children.


Surviving are a son Ronald C. Roth husband of Patricia S. (Stolze) Roth of Exeter Twp., 2 daughters Nancy (Roth) wife of William Bursey of Beckley, West Virginia and Sally (Roth) wife of James Dickerson of Nashville, Tennessee, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a sister Joanne (Feick) wife of Willard Harvey of Cincinnati, Ohio.
