Betty J. Lausch

Betty J. Lausch (Fies), 92, of Ephrata, formerly of Reading, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Ephrata Community Hospital. She was the loving wife to Lynn V. Lausch for over 66 years, before his passing on November 5, 2017. Born in Reading, Betty was the daughter of the late, Chester M. Fies and Elsie Drenkel Fies. Betty was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Betty is survived by her son, Barry L. Lausch, husband of Marsha, of Ephrata, her grandsons, Jesse, husband of Emily, Thomas, Ryan, and her great grandchildren, Carter and Harvey.

In addition to her husband Lynn, Betty is predeceased by her son, Garry L. Lausch, and her brothers, Bruce Fies, and Garth Fies.

Funeral service for Betty will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 1:00 PM in Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave, Shillington. Interment to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home, Shillington, on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
