Betty Kissel

Betty E. Kissel, 84, formerly of Hyde Park, passed away December 3, 2008 at 11:47 am in Mifflin Center where she was a resident for 2 1/2 years. She was the wife of the late Peter J. Kissel who passed away in March of 1980. Born in Monongahela, PA she was the daughter of the late Reese and Mary(Ford) Brown. Mrs. Kissel was employed by Pitsburgh Coal Company as a payroll clerk and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Reading. She was the Loving Mother of Pamela L. (Kissel) wife of Steven A. Grant of Cumru Township and a Loving Grandmother to Peter W.; Joshua S.; Megan E.; Kayla R. along with several nieces and nephews and their families.
