Betty M. Hohl, 89, formerly of Reading, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at 4:45 pm in Reading Hospital. She was taken to the hospital from Manor Care Health Services in Laureldale where she resided since November 2013. She was the wife of the late A. Henry Hohl who passed away February 2, 1982. Born in Reading Mrs. Hohl was the daughter of the late Herbert Davis and Marie (Kauffman) Brobst. She was preceded in death by her step father Nathaniel Brobst. Mrs. Hohl was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School and McCann School of Business and was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church. She was a bookkeeper at Beaumont, Heller & Sperling in Reading for 14 years until her retirement. Mrs. Hohl is survived by step daughter Beverly A. Yedinak, wife of Lewis Yedinak, Jr. of Stover, Missouri and her step grandsons Brian Yedinak of Pomona, California and Paul Yedinak of Portland, Oregon and her step great granddaughter Natalie Salcedo of Vallejo, California. She is also survived by her sister Annnora M. Witkowski, wife of the late Joseph Witkowski of Reading and her nephew and Godson Joseph J. Witkowski, Jr. husband of Terri L. Witkowski of Sinking Spring and her great niece Ashley L. Witkowski and her great nephew Derek N. Witkowski.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home North 16th & Rockland Street, Hampden Heights at the convenience of the family. Reverend Richard A. Nelson will officiate. Interment will follow in Laureldale Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
