Betty Heliger

Betty Jane Heliger, 88, of Oley, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 11:17 pm in Berkshire Center.  She was the wife of John F. Heliger.  Born in Telford, PA, Betty was the daughter of the late Mark G. and Florence (Fink) Frederick.  She attended worship at the New Life Bible Fellowship Church in Oley.  Betty enjoyed sewing, gardening, baking and doing puzzles, but most of all she loved her family and friends.  In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her children Wendy MacDonald, wife of Jay MacDonald of Richboro, PA; Kerry Steich of Quakertown; Barry Steich, husband of Myra Steich of Quakertown; Gary Steich, husband of Carol Steich of Quakertown; Sherrie Alsup of Quakertown; Perry Heliger, husband of Kathie Heliger of Reading; Matthew Heliger, husband of Heather Heliger of Exeter Township and was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.  Betty is also survived by her siblings Glenn Frederick; Ernest Frederick; Carl Frederick; Stella Smith and was preceded in death by Mark, Robert, Jay and Charles Frederick and Ethel Galluppi and Nancy Schroy.

A Memorial Service will be held at New Life Bible Fellowship Church 2960 West Philadelphia Ave. Oley, PA 19547,  Monday, February 22, 2021 at 11:00 am.  Reverend James MacArthur will officiate. Interment will be held privately by the family at St. Paul’s Union Cemetery, Fleetwood.  The family will receive relatives and friends at New Life Bible Fellowship Church Monday 9:30 am to 10:45 am.
