Bertha Greth

Bertha M. Greth, 93, died of natural causes Saturday, December 24, 2016 at 3:30 am in her home. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth(Wolfe) Clouser. She was the wife of the late Warren W. Greth with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. They worked together as proprietors of Warren W. Greth Meats in Laureldale, retiring from the business in 1988.
Bertha was a member of Brickerville United Lutheran Church, and she enjoyed attending the Lititz Senior Center. She is survived by her son Dr. Warren E. Greth, husband of Barbara M. Greth of Reinholds; her daughters Patricia E. Bittler, wife of Dennis H. Bittler of Lititz and Barbara A. Davis, wife of Reverend Scott K. Davis of Lititz along with her 7 grandchildren and 17 A½ great grandchildren. Bertha is also survived by her brothers Paul Jacob Clouser of Bernville and Franklin Clouser of Birdsboro and her sister Carolyn Clements of Bernville.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, North 16th & Rockland Streets, Hampden Heights, Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 11:00 am. Reverend Scott K. Davis will officiate. Interment will follow in Charles Evans Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 6-8:00 pm and Thursday 10-11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care 685 Good Drive, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604 or Brickerville United Lutheran Church, 340 East 28th Division Highway, Lititz, PA 17543 in memory of Mrs. Bertha M.
