Bernadine Shutter

Bernadine A. (Geguzis, Pchola) Shutter, 85,.formerly of Robesonia, passed away Sunday, November 1st, 2009 at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been a patient since Tuesday.

Born in Luzerne, PA, she was the daughter of the late Florian and Antonnia Geguzis.

She was the widow of Edward H. Shutter, who passed away on February 4, 2009. Her first husband, Paul J. Pchola, passed away in 1954.

She attended Luzerne High School.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola R.C.C..

She is survived by two sons: Edward H. Shutter Jr. of Sinking Spring, and David J. Pchola of Newmanstown, with whom she last resided.

There are also seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was pre deceased by a son: Paul J. Pchola Jr., who passed away in February of 1991.
