Beatrice L. Kauffman

Beatrice L. Kauffman, 97, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the Reading Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late William R. Kauffman who passed away on January 28, 1995. Together they shared 47 years of marriage. Born in Sinking Spring, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Sara N. (Rentschler) Stamm. 

Beatrice was a graduate of Wilson High School Class of 1945. During her life, she was an Administrative Assistant initially for General Battery Corporation that later transitioned to Exide Technologies, until retiring in 2000.

Beatrice was a lifelong member of Bern Evangelical Lutheran Church and an honorary member for 75 years of the Ontelaunee Grange. She loved spending time with her family, going on trips with her friends, playing cards, board games, and making artificial flower arrangements. 

Beatrice was predeceased by her grandson Kevin W. Mager who passed away on December 23, 2016 and her brother Ralph C. Stamm.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna A. Giles, wife of Richard S. Giles, of Cumru Township; Carol A. Mager, wife of Martin Mager, of Shoemakersville; Granddaughter, Heather K. Zientek, wife of Christopher Zientek, of Shillington; and Step-grandchildren, Tyler Giles & Kyle Giles. 

A Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, PA 19608 on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Bern Cemetery.
