Barry Lee Moyer

Barry Lee Moyer, 76, of Exeter Township, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 6:20 am in Fairlane Gardens, Exeter Township.  He was the husband of Sarah J. (Brown) Moyer.  Born in Reading, Mr. Moyer was the son of the late Malcolm Moyer and Ruth (Tobias) Clouser.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  Mr. Moyer was a mechanic for Hershey Foods in Reading for many years until his retirement in 2009.  In addition to his wife Mr. Moyer is survived by his children Richard L. Missimer, Jr. husband of Charmagne of Leesport; Glenn L. Missimer of Leesport; Stephen D. Moyer husband of Michelle Y. Moyer of Pottstown and his 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Mr. Moyer is also survived by his brother David Moyer husband of Donna Moyer of Fredericksburg, his sister Diane Moyer of Allentown and his half-sister Pam Guido wife of Mike Guido and was preceded in death by his sister Andrea Maurer and his step father Jim Clouser.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township Wednesday November 29, 2023 at 11:00 am.  Reverend Robert Janke will officiate.  Interment with Military Honors rendered by the United States Army Honor Guard will follow at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Wednesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society; donate.cancer.org.
