Barry Houck, Jr

Barry L. Houck, Jr., 50, of Shillington, passed away on June 21, 2016 at his residence.
Born in Reading, he was the son of Barry L. Houck, Sr. and Maria T. (Riillo) Houck.
Mr. Houck attended Alvernia University, where he received degrees in Business Management and Occupational Safety. He was employed as a police officer for Birdsboro and later Cumru Twp. He went on to be employed for Lackawanna Insurance Company in Risk Management.
Barry was a member of Immanuel UCC of Shillington. He was an amazing father, who loved his children more than anything. He was kind, generous, selfless, and was always willing to lend a hand.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children: Anthony M. Houck, Amanda L. Houck, and Alexander J. Houck. FiancAC.: Kelly A. Emmert and future step-daughter: Lindsay K. Snider.
Memorial Service will be held at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 99 S. Waverly St., Shillington, on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 6:30PM. A reception and greeting of the family will follow the service.
