Barry Ernst

Barry J. Ernst, 69, of Cumru Twp., passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 9:58 p.m. at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Reading he was the son of the late Alice Ernst, and step son of the late Lewellyn Lott Sr. He was the husband of Joan (Grabosky) Ernst. The couple shared 46 A½ wonderful years of marriage.

He worked as a Furnace Operator for NGK Metals Inc. for 30 years, last working for them in 2000. He loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and enjoyed attending The Renaissance Fair in Lancaster, going 4-5 times a year.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son: David C. Ernst, husband of Michele Ernst of Sinking Spring; and a daughter: Kim C. (Ernst), wife of Edward Bachman of Pottstown.

There are also five grandchildren.

He is also survived by a sister: Patricia (Lott) Stump of Reading.

In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made in Mr. Ernst's memory, to Joan Ernst c/o the Bean Funeral Home to assist with Mr. Ernst's medical expenses.
