Barbara E. Weber, 87, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015, in Berks Heim where she was a patient for the past three years. Previously, she was a resident of Country Meadows, Wyomissing for nine years. She was the wife of the late Ray C. Weber who passed away December 11, 2006. Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas C. and Lina (Oswald) Eley. She was a member of St. John's Reformed Church in Sinking Spring. She graduated from McCaskey High School, Lancaster, PA.
Mrs. Weber is survived by her children Gayle Werner of Ontelaunee Township; Faith Delp, wife of George Delp of Sinking Spring; and Robert Weber, husband of Sheila Weber of Womelsdorf. She was preceded in death in May by her son, William Weber, husband of Debi Weber of Orlando, Florida. Mrs. Weber is also survived by nine grandchildren: Elizabeth Griesemer; Christine Werner; Susan Ferry; Dennise Heckman; Bridgette Vecchio; Joshua Delp; Kelly Fessler; Christopher Weber and Justin Fleisch, and 14 great-grandchildren: Isaac; Matthew; Emily; Abigail; Annora; Fiona; Autumn; Takoda; Olivia; Georgia; Coralina; Mason; Jackson; and Noah. She is also survived by her sister Lee Dunn of Stow, Massachusetts; her brother Thomas Eley, Masschusetts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Barbara was a gentle soul. She was an artist who loved all God's creatures and most of all her family. She enjoyed walking, visits with her sister, travels with her husband, the ocean, and sundaes at the Jigger Shop.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 1:30 pm. Reverend Robert S. Ziehmer will officiate. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday 12:30-1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106 in memory of Mrs. Barbara E. Weber.
