Barbara A. Tothero

Barbara A. Tothero, 89, formerly of Montrose Manor, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Berks Heim.  She was the wife of the late Charles Tothero, Jr. who passed away November 26, 2019.   Born in Kenhorst, Mrs. Tothero was the daughter of the late Frederick A. and Helen E. (Reinhart) Schneider.  She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Mohnton and was a 1952 graduate of Shillington High School. Mrs. Tothero was employed by Reading Electric Motor Service as an office manager for 27 years.  She was later employed by Worley-Parsons, Flying Hills.  Mrs. Tothero is survived by her children Rickey F. Tothero of Wernersville; Shelley A. Grim wife of Dale E. Grim of Muhlenberg Township; her granddaughters Megan E. and Nikki E. Grim; a niece and several nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sisters Dolores VanHorn and Jacqueline De Hart. 

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 1:00 pm.   Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Thursday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Berks County Home-Berks Heim, 1011 Berks Road, Leesport, PA 19533 in memory of Mrs. Barbara A.
