Barbara A. Forrer, 79, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 3:48 am in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Barbara passed away from complications following surgery for pancreatic cancer. She was the wife of the late Tilden C. Forrer who passed away March 16, 1998. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Muard M.M. and Oleta(Bardo) Naugle. She was a 1948 graduate of Reading High School and McCann's School of Business. Barbara was a fixture in the former northwest Reading's Muard's Luncheonette and later the Fairground's Farmer's Market, working at Keagy Produce Stand. Barbara was a devout Christian and longtime member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Reading, where she was a member of church council, the outreach committee, property committee and many others along with Vacation Bible School. She is survived by her sons, Tilden D. husband of Donna L. Forrer of Tombstone, AZ, Garry L. husband of Janice L. Forrer of Muhlenberg Township, Larry L. husband of Nan L. Forrer of Muhlenberg Township, David K. husband of Christine A. Forrer of Mohnton, Alan M. husband of Lee Ann Forrer of Shillington, her brother, Muard M. M. Naugle of Strausstown along with 14 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a niece, two nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Jane Tresize and Katherine Painter.
