Barbara Floren

Barbara P. Floren, 83, of West Lawn, passed away March 21, 2011 at 11:07 PM in Reading Hospital & Medical Center where she was a patient for one day. She was the wife of Robert O. Floren who passed away July of 1970. Born in Reading on January 6, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Harrison A. and Irene (Curley) Peck.

Barbara was a 1945 graduate of Mt. Penn High School and a 1949 graduate of Reading Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a registered nurse for the Reading Hospital & Medical Center for 16 years retiring in 1965.

Surviving are 3 sons Michael C. Floren of Reading, Kenneth S. Floren of North Beach, MD and Christopher L. Floren husband of Theresa M. Ferlazzo of Spring Twp., 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons and a sister Nancy P. (Peck) wife of Richard Clendaniel of Durham, NC.
