Barbara A. Daubenspeck, 89, Sinking Spring, died April 28, peacefully in her sleep. Her husband, Howard G. Daubenspeck, Jr. passed away in 2006.
She was born in Richland, Lebanon County, on August 24, 1933, a daughter of the late George M. and Molly Geneva (Zug) Bender.
Barbara was a loving and faithful wife to her late husband Howard and loving mother to her children and grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by four daughters: Brenda, wife of Thomas Balthaser, Bethel; Nancy, wife of Jeffrey Hunsberger, Kenhorst; Lisa, wife of Steven Bansner, Reading; Carol, wife of Randy Gonzalez, Wernersville; son-in-law, Joseph O'Brien, Bernville; six grandchildren: Eric Balthaser, Joshua Balthaser, Samuel Bansner, Alexis Price-Moyer, Emily Bansner Behler and Christopher Price and two great-grandsons: Alexander Balthaser and Jordan Balthaser.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Judy, in 1958, Donna O’Brien in 2007, and sons-in-law, Gregory Cummings and Allen Price.
She was also predeceased by her siblings: Charles Bender, Dale Bender, Kenneth Bender, G. Richard Bender and Mary Lou Seiders.
Services will be Wednesday, May 3, in Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive relatives and guests from 10 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in Friedens Cemetery, Oley.
