Aurora Ramos

Aurora Ramos, 89, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Berks Heim Nursing Home in Reading. Born in Brooklyn, NY on February 28, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Eladia (Alvarez) Mariani. Aurora was employed as a foster grandparent at Lauer's Elementary School. She was a member of Spring Valley Church of God since the early 90s. She was a very kind and gentle soul with a loving and generous heart, opening her home to numerous traveling missionaries. She loved playing the French horn. Aurora was predeceased by her children: Rachel Torres, Oscar Ramos, and Daniel Ramos, and her 3 siblings. She is survived by her children: Noemi Rivera, Laura Ramos, Wanda Urena, and John A. Ramos; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous loving nieces, nephews, and relatives.
Funeral Services will be held at Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Rd., Temple, on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington, from 6-9:00PM and on Thursday, at the church from 9-10:45AM. The interment will follow the service at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
