Aubrey Gordon was born on November 14, 1957, in Mahaicony, Guyana. A Former Guyana Olympian and US National Champion he passed away on February 3, 2025, in Reading Pennsylvania. He migrated to the United States in 1981, where he resided with the Chee Family in Queens, New York. Aubrey has been described as Guyana's most disciplined and dedicated athlete. He represented Guyana on numerous occasions including the Pan Am Games in 1975 in Mexico and 1979 in Puerto Rico. In 1979 he also represented the Goodwill Games In Moscow. He represented Guyana in two Olympics, the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, and 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain where he was the flag bearer. Aubrey was a United States National champion on three occasions. He won many medals including, Gold in the 2009 UCI Track Cycling Masters World Championships which was held in Sydney, Australia, and 2017 at the USA Cycling Maters Road National Criterium in Augusta, Georgia. He was a silver medalist in 2017 in Auckland, New Zealand. Also won numerous races both track and road in the Caribbean.

 He was a dedicated employee with HENRY SCHEIN for over 25 years. Aubrey is survived by his wife Dollive, their two children Samantha, and Jermain, along with his granddaughters Nalani and Samara. 

 He will be greatly missed by many friends, nieces, nephews, and the cycling community.

 funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 8:00 PM at Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Avenue, Shillington. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on the same day.
