Arthur Thomas, Jr.

Arthur Raymond Thomas, Jr. 91, a former resident at Country Meadows of Wyomissing, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at 7:57 pm at Berks Heim.  He was the husband of the late Shirley A. (Bare) Thomas who passed away February 22, 1989 and by his second wife Mae E. Kauffman who passed away April 25, 2021.     Born in Reading, Mr. Thomas was the son of the late Arthur Raymond Thomas, Sr. and Virginia D. (Glasmire) Thomas.  He was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church and served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  Mr. Thomas was employed by Reading Wholesale Dry Goods as a salesman and also Park Jensen.    He is survived by his children June E. Seibert, wife of the late Joel E. Seibert of Sinking Spring; Allan R. Thomas, husband of Bonnie Thomas of Allentown; Julie A. Schmidt, wife of Wayne Schmidt of Philadelphia and his 9 grandchildren.  Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his brother Robert Thomas.

Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family at Sinking Spring Cemetery.  Reverend Richard A.
