Arthur Hahn

Arthur K. "G-Pop" Hahn, 81, of Temple, formerly of Reading, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010 at 4:20 am in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center a patient since May 1, 2010. He was the husband of Anna R. (DaDamio) Hahn. Born in Berks County, he was the son of the late Arthur K. Sr. and Gertrude M. (Morrison) Hahn. Mr. Hahn was employed by U.G.I. in Reading as a supervisor for 34 years, retiring in 1984. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Reading, member of Adamstown VFW, member of Goodwill Fire Company in Laureldale, Avid Central Catholic Booster, member of Hunter Liggett Post in Reading and former coach of CYO football and basketball at St. Joseph RCC. In addition to his wife, Mr. Hahn is survived by his sons, Arthur G. husband of Lisa M. Hahn of Lower Alsace Township and Allan E. husband of Catharine A. Hahn of Bernville. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Andrew R., Nicole M., Matthew A. and Jeffrey A. along with his great granddaughter Emma L. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Richard Hahn, Luther Hahn, John Hahn, Elsie Clauser, Edith Minotto and Edna Ireson.
