Arlene Reider

Arlene E. Reider (Weinhold), 92, of Hamburg, formerly of Shillington, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in Shillington, Arlene was the daughter of the late Paul Norman, and Marcella Renee (Weinrich) Weinhold. She was a graduate of Shillington High School, class of 1947. After graduation, Arlene went on to work as a sales associate for Bon-Ton, Witners, and Marilyn Shop clothing boutique. Arlene was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She had been active in the choir and often helped out with Vacation Bible School. She enjoyed fashion, especially shoes, as well as simply enjoyed getting dressed up. She loved watching sports, especially the Phillies.

Arlene is survived by her niece, Sandra E. Guinther, of Shillington, and her nephew, Edwin P. Guinther ( husband of Karen), of Sinking Spring., great-nephew Jeromy Guinther( husband of Miki), great-niece Adrienne Horrigan( wife of Oliver), and great niece, Corinne Whitfield ( wife of Zach)  . There are also four great-great nephews, and two great-great nieces.

Predeceasing Arlene is her sister, Lois E. Guinther and Lois's husband John.

Funeral service for Arlene will be held in Calvary Baptist Church, 510 Park Ave. Reading, on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow in Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville. Pastor Russell Weidel to officiate. The family will receive guest in Calvary Baptist Church, on Wednesday, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
