Arlene Patton, 81, of Sinking Spring, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on June 17, 2017, at The Reading Hospital.
She was the wife of Robert R. Patton. Together they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 4, 2017.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Stella (Grzegorzewski) Quaintance.
Arlene was a 1953 graduate of The Reading High School. She went on to be employed at Leader Nursing Home, Giant Food Store, and Wilson School District, where she retired from.
She was predeceased by her daughter: Heidi L. Gaugler: step grandson Dylan Dieffenbach, Jr. and brother: Ronald Quaintance.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Kimberly A. Wanner, wife of Larry of Wernersville, Lori L. Wanner, wife of Walter of Wernersville, and Courtney E. Serba, wife of Daniel of Dagsboro, DE and Timothy P. Patton, husband of Charlene of Ephrata. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Jeremy, Walter, Jordan, Jessica, and Morgan Wanner, Landon Gaugler, Zachary, Camry, and Lindsay Patton, Alicia and Danny Serba; great-grandchildren: Talon, Polaris, and Wyatt Wanner; Sister: Judith Rodgers and brother: Howard Quaintance.
Funeral Services will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 12:00PM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10-12:00PM. The entombment will follow the service at Pleasant View Cemetery and Mausoleum.
