Arlean Stehman

Arlean J. (Gregro) Stehman, 94, of Reading, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 6:30 a.m. at Manor Care Laureldale, where she had a been patient for 3 years. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Gregro and Mildred (Gerhart) Gregro. She was the wife of Walter H. "Bill" Stehman, who passed away on July 14, 1983. She worked as a restaurant owner of Alice's Restaurant and 9th & Walnut St., Billy's Hunting Lodge on 9th St., and Billy's Wife's Place on 8th & Elm St. in Reading. She is survived by her sons: Michael L. Stehman of West Lawn, and David R. Gehr of Muhlenberg Twp.
There are also nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was pre deceased by a son: Robert K. Gehr; brothers: Robert, Francis, James, Frank Gregro; and a sister: Helen (Gregro) Piersody.
