April Roth

April A. Roth, 59, of Bern Twp., passed away June 16, 2015, in Harrisburg Hospital, Alex Grass Rehabilitation Center.

She was the wife of Patrick H. Roth. They would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on July 15th. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Edward Folk and Dolores (Tansky) Folk, Myerstown.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, is a daughter, Melissa A. Roth, wife of Dylan Knowles, Mt. Penn; grandson, Asher T. Knowles; brother, Dr. Mark Folk, Schaefferstown; sister, Lisa Melton, NC.

Some of the many things April loved to do were listening to music, gardening, cooking, boating on the Chesapeake Bay and her love for animals. She especially adored her grandson, Asher.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Avenue, Sinking Spring, Rev. Robert Weaver officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends 1:00-2:00 p.m.
