Annette Daughtry

Annette L. Daughtry, 67, of Alsace Twp., passed away February 24, 2011 at 5:45 PM in her residence. She was the wife of Rommie A. Daughtry. Born in West Reading on June 27, 1943, she was the daughter of Arline M. (Hafer) Ellmaker of The Villages, FL and the late Andrew H. Ellmaker.

Annette was a 1961 graduate of Wilson High School. She was employed as a clerical worker by United States Life Insurance Company for 11 years retiring in 1998. She was a member of Wyomissing Church of the Brethren, where she served as a deacon. Annette loved gardening, reading, traveling and camping.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are 2 sons Keith J. Beck husband of Michelle Wasik-Beck of Mt. Penn and Todd A. Beck of Reading; 4 step sons R. Lane Daughtry husband of Andrea Daughtry of North Carolina, Darren R. Daughtry husband of Ann Daughtry of West Virginia, Chris H. Daughtry husband of JoLynne Daughtry of Alsace Twp. and Tracy O. Daughtry husband of Karen Daughtry of Alsace Twp.; 1 step daughter Bonnie S. Bertolet of San Francisco, CA; 14 step grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; and 3 brothers Arlan Ellmaker of the Villages, FL; Allen Ellmaker of Montana and Ashley Ellmaker of Montana. She was predeceased by a sister Andrea Ford.
