Anna Sublette

Anna May Sublette, 94, of West Lawn, passed away Sunday February 12, 2023 at 2:39 am at Reading Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Newton W. Sublette who passed away in 1986.  Born in Chester County, Mrs. Sublette was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Edith Irene (Deeds) Plowfield.  She was employed by AT&T/Lucent Technologies as a scanning electron microscope operator until her retirement.  Mrs. Sublette enjoyed baking, sewing, was an avid bingo player, was a cheerleader at Sinking Spring High School and loved her dog Teenie.  She is survived by her children Gary D. Letterhouse of Douglassville; Kathy A. Smith, wife of Carl Smith of Deer Lake; Steven S. Sublette, companion of Mary C. Miller of Kutztown; Pamela J. Orlosky, wife of Stephen M. Orlosky of Mohrsville and her 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Mrs. Sublette was preceded in death by her brother Frederick Plowfield, her sister Irene Dietrich and her longtime companion Allen Fitterling.

Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 1:00 pm.  Amy S. Landis, Celebrant, will officiate.  Interment will follow at Sinking Spring Cemetery.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Thursday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.  Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
