Anna Ortiz

Anna Mae Ortiz, 86, of Rockland Twp., passed away November 23, 2010 at 2:00pm in her residence.

Born in Oley Twp., she was the daughter of the late Robert Kercher and Rachel (Noll) Thren and the wife of the late Roberto Ortiz Goldsmith who passed away March 5, 2001.

Mrs. Ortiz managed Alexander's Restaurant in New Jerusalem from 1993-present, in earlier years she owned and operated a German Deli at the former Reading Farmer's Market.

She is survived by sons: Roberto E. husband of Gretel Ortiz of Fleetwood, John R. Ortiz of Fleetwood and James D. Tate of Forest, Mississippi. There are 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great-grandchild.

Also surviving is a brother Robert Kercher of Alsace Twp. and was preceded by brother John Kercher.
