Anna Herman

Anna Rae (Timmins) Herman, 94, died on Friday, May 21, 2010 at her residence in Sinking Spring. Born in Shenandoah on November 10, 1915, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy Timmins and Elizabeth (Williams) Timmins. Ms. Herman worked in hosiery mills and various dining establishments in the Reading area. She was employed as a line worker at Western Electric for twenty years until her retirement in 1978,
Anna was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church of Wyomissing and the Telephone Pioneers of America. Surviving are two sons: Willard F., of Sinking Spring, and Barry L., of Allenstown, NH. There are also four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was pre deceased by two sisters: Mae Moyer and Lila Koller. There is one surviving sister: Betty Balthaser.
